"We rejoice in sharing with you our theme for next year, 2010-- 'Fullness of Life in Christ.' This theme is based on Colossians 2:6-7: 'Since you have accepted Christ Jesus as Lord, live in union with him. Keep your roots deep in him, build your lives on him, and become strongerin your faith, as you were taught. And be filled with thanksgiving.' (Good News Bible version)," says the International Council (IC) of Couples for Christ through its Chairman.
In his letter to the Couples for Christ global family, Bro. Joe Tale reminds us of our "twin mission of Building the Church of the Home and Church of the Poor with Christ as its center."
He enjoins everyone to "continue to pursue both even more intensely because one is not complete without the other," while reasoning that "pursuing one and not the other will not allow us to experience the fullness of life that Jesus has modeled for us and is offering us."
"Our 2010 theme is a re-statement and a re-commitment of who we are as a community," Bro. Joe states while adding that "our theme is also a renewed call for us to strengthen the basics of our personal and community life."
Bro. Joe concludes his pastoral letter with hope as "we wait with great expectation for the fullness of life that He promises us in 2010."
