The first day of the 11th CFC SFC European Conference was truly exciting! Only having confirmed a venue the day before, the service team was anxious and relieved that the Lord, once again, challenged us to just trust and have faith in Him.
Delegates from countries all over Europe started arriving at The Ramada Hotel in Geneva, excited for what God had in store for them. Familiar faces and new faces greeted each other with love and joy. Brothers and sisters gathered to start the conference with a worship, truly feeling the presence of the Holy Spirit. Full of Spirit, we went on to fill ourselves with delicious food!
The food fest competition known as “The Cheese Fest” was amazing. There was great food and wine presented by each country who really came to win. Following this delicious meal was Holy mass (after fasting for an hour, of course). Then the Praise Parade started. It was truly full of life, color, dancing, and very loud cheering. After, those who entered the t-shirt and SFC Idol competiton modeled and performed their songs. And we ended the first night with a prayer, ready to experience what God has in store for all of us.
The 11th SFC European Conference is truly a miracle. With many challenges getting it started, God has reminded us that we must be reliant upon Him in all situations for without Him all our efforts come to naught.
